It’s a conversation. It should take no longer than a half hour. I will review the space and your needs. It is also your opportunity to voice any particular cleaning needs. I will always try my best to address cleaning issues or preferences specific to each of my clients.

I aim to be as efficient as possible. The first cleaning allows me to understand the time and effort it will take to clean your house. Contracts can be adjusted, to a certain extent, to fit your cleaning needs.

I will arrive at the designated time. My goal with the first cleaning is to get a sense of the time and effort it will take to clean your house. I will complete all of the agreed-upon cleanings and send you a text when I have left your house.

At the completion of your first cleaning, I will send you an email to let you know if I feel that this relationship is a good fit. Then, I will email you a contract, and set the next appointment.

Items in the way of the cleaning process should be removed or organized to allow me to clean. For example, toys or shoes should be picked up from the floor so I am able to vacuum or mop. Counters should be clear of items so they are able to be cleaned. Dishes should be removed so that I can scrub the sink. If there is too much of a barrier for me to appropriately clean, I will notify you to explain why an area wasn’t cleaned.

Payment is due day of cleaning. For the moment, I only accept payment in the form of cash or check. I will be considering other methods of payment in the future.

Yes, of course. I understand that many people have allergies and health issues that can be exasperated by certain cleaning products. While I chose products that are advertised to be safe, I have no issue using the products that you prefer. No discount will be applied for use of your products.

A 24-hour phone call notice is required for all cancellations. If I do not answer, please leave a voicemail. Within the 24-hour window, a cancellation fee of $30 will be added to your next cleaning.
